Learning Outcomes of the Course : 1) Understands the scope of the term and the term Uighur.
2) Learns Uighur language text that make up the historical, political and cultural environment.
3) Learns Uighurs belief systems.
4) Understands the effect of Uighurs´ belief in Buddhism, Manichaeism and Christianity which affect their language.
5) Recognizes the alphabets used in Uighur.
6)Knows written products and properties in Uighur language.

Aim(s) of Course : To teach reading the written texts in old Turkic belong to Uyghur language period in terms of phonology, morphology, vocabulary and reading texts in Uyghur alphabet

Course Contents : Uighurs (the era of Terms, geography, political and administrative structure, belief systems). Uighur Uighur Buddhist literature overview and presentation of texts. The presence and work of Uighur Uighur texts. Alphabets used by Uyghur, Uighur evaluation in terms of language features, written in Uyghur script to work on the text to read. Altun was written in Uyghur alphabet Yaru, Good and Bad Prince´s Story and the rest Manichaean Uighur Uygur Manichaean texts and texts of the Buddhist movement in terms of volume and structure information views. Uighur sound, style, vocabulary and syntax specifications.
