Learning Outcomes of the Course : Knows the personal charectistics of people in the group that the interpersonal communication skills program is applied
Knows the items of the program prepared for the development of interpersonal communication skills
Distinguishes the skills that will be used in the program content according to the charecteristics of the group the program will be applied
Explains which target behaviour will be developed in the program.
Knows which educational activities will be used in the program
Explains the methods and techniques used in the program
Applies the methods and techniques determined
Forms groups relevant to the criteria for forming a group
Prepares the communication skills program for the specific group
Applies the education program
Develops application skill by getting feedback about the education program
Writes a report by evaluating the communication skills program

Aim(s) of Course : The aim of this course is to provide the students with the ability to prepare communication skills program that is applicable in different levels with the information they learned in PDR 735 course.

Course Contents : The course covers basic concepts of communication and communication models, beginning and development of interpersonal relationships, theoretical approaches and models of interpersonal relationships, effective communication skills, effective listening, emphaty, self-disclosure, non-verbal communication, agressive, passive and assertive behaviors, conflict resolution process and emotional intelligence.
