Can distinguish prose styles in Turkish-Islamic literature.
Can provide information about the development of prose in Turkish-Islamic literature in time .

Can compare prose types with each other in terms of language, narrative, and content.
Can identify the features of prose forms which have emerged and improved over the centuries.

Aim(s) of Course : The aim of this course is to introduce the features and types of prose in Turkish Islamic Literature through analysing samples

Course Contents : The following topic are in the scope of this course: Features and types of prose in Turkish Islamic Literature . Religious Prose, Tefsir, Hadis, Akaid, Fıkıh.Sinan Paşa Tazarruat, Tezkiretü’l-evliyâ, Maktel-i Hüseyn. Siyer, Kısas-ı enbiyâ. Ahmed-i Dâi from Miftahü’l-Cenne.Tezkires and their features.
