Aim(s) of Course : The aim is to introduce the resources and studies on Islamic History to students and to provide them with the ability to use them in scientific studies

Course Contents : The following issues are covered in this course: Periodization and classification of literature on Islamic history, Islamic history literature (general, local, biograpical, genealogical, conquests), Medieval Islamic history literature, introduction to the Ottoman history literature
