Aim(s) of Course : The aim of this course is to help students comprehend the place and importance of history in social sciences. It is also aimed to give information about the steps to be followed in historical studies,research considerations,classification of historical sources and classifying and inscribing information.

Course Contents : This course covers the following topics: methods, theories and concepts affecting historiography, the relations between history and the other social sciences, critical usage of sources, the place of history in interdisciplinary studies.
