Aim(s) of Course : This course is aimed to teach and help students comprehend the historical events that make up the breaking moments in the history of the world from the late 18th century until the mid- 20th century in the context of Asia, Africa, America

Course Contents : Colonization and post- colonization American History, History of India, China, and Russia´s social transformations, Japanese Modernization Movement, the African communities under the ruling of Ottoman Empire are the topics that will be covered during the course. Also the issues of culture and values will be emphasized.
