Learning Outcomes of the Course : To understand which problems are linear programming problems or not.
To define the linear programming problems and build the model.
To solve the linear programming model and use its solutions to make comment about business applications.
To distinguish between transportation and assignment problems and to solve and evaluate the solutions.
To be able to use MS Excel Solver to reach solutions of quantitative decision making problems.

Aim(s) of Course : This course aims to be able to solve managerial problems with operation researchs techniques.

Course Contents : This course starts with the fundamentals of management science and it continues what linear programming,transportation and assignment problems are and how to reach solutions of business problems by applying these techiques.
