Aim(s) of Course : The purpose of this course is to make the students learn the basic concepts of sociology of social movements ,examine special social movements and do metedological trials on the sociology of social movements.

Course Contents : This course covers methodological trials in analyzing specific social movements like riots, Islamist movements, the Kurdish movement, feminism, youth movements, etc. which have emerged as historical-empirical
