Aim(s) of Course : To learn the historical facts about collection of verses into a book and formation process of the Qur´an starting from the period of Mohammad.

Course Contents : The writing of the parts of Qur´anic text during the life of Muhammad, the compilation of the Qur´anic text during the Caliph Abu Bakr´s period and its canonization during the Caliph Uthman´s period

Language of Instruction : Turkish
