Learning Outcomes of the Course : Chooses suitable aquarium systems and their equipments depending on the type of aquaculture.
Sets up and manages the recycle systems and biological filtration for aquaculture.
Establishes a trial aquarium and carries out.
Comprehends and controls the water quality parameters
Student comprehend to the dynamics of the pond and perform to the fertilization protocols.

Aim(s) of Course : To main aim of this lecture is to teach students about the aquarium systems and its equipment, recycle systems and their management; water quality and its control in aquarium systems.

Course Contents : Type of aquarium systems and their definition, setting up, design and mechanization; aquarium materials, their definition and usage; recycle systems, filtration and their kinds in aquaculture; environmental factors in aquarium systems, water quality and its control.

Language of Instruction : Turkish

Work Place : Classrooms of fisheries faculty and laboratories of aquculture depertmant.
