Aim(s) of Course |
: |
To understand the tectonic events and forces that plays important role in shaping the earth’s crust and to understand the effects of forces on the rocks. In this concept to gain the ability to interprete the structural elements formed in the nature. To gain knowledge about plate movements and formation of earthquakes on the earth’s crust. To provide the students better understanding of the theoretical backgrounds of the plate tectonic theory and the motion of lithospheric plates and the consequence of these motions. |
