Learning Outcomes of the Course : Knows the concepts of plant biotechnology, ın vitro culture, genetic engineering and molecular marker.
Has the basic knowledge of using the techniques of in vitro culture in the field crops.
Has the basic knowledge of using molecular marker techniques in the field crops
Has the basic knowledge of using genetic engineering techniques in the field crops

Aim(s) of Course : The purpose of this course is to give basic and current information about the applications of the plant biotechnological methods in the field crops.

Course Contents : In this course, definiton and scope of the plant biotechnology and applications of plant biotechnology methods in different group of field crops such as cereals, food legumes, industrial crops and forage crops will be explained.
