Learning Outcomes of the Course : gets information on the definition and scope of the EIA.
learns the processes of preparing the EIA report in Turkey and other countries
gets information on the legal regulations of EIA in Turkey.
Learns evaluation methods used in the EIA studies.
acquires skills about the development of proposals for the elimination of deficiencies in the implementation of the methods used in EIA studies conducted in Turkey and abroad.

Aim(s) of Course : contains the studies that completed in the world regarding Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), preparation of EIA processes in Turkey and in other countries, the legal regulations and the institutions responsible for EIA, the current evaluation methods used in EIA , problems and shortcomings arising from the implementation of these methods.

Course Contents : discusses EIA definition, scope and learning, research studies about preparation of EIA reports on EIA in Turkey, according to the EIA Directive and other laws and regulations.
