Learning Outcomes of the Course : Understands the theoretical comparative literature
Understands the importance of comparative literature with relation to other disciplines
Applies and examines the methods of comparative literature
Gains critical approach to literary studies within the framework of comparative literature to present the works of a different type
Gains the ability to identify in the German Cultural History the image of Turkish
Knows and analyzes different works of art motifs, images in a critical approach

Aim(s) of Course : It is aimed to compare the authors or the works from two different cultures or from the same culture in terms of the image of the self, prejudice, stereotype, style and so on in a critical way.

Course Contents : Comparative point, basic concepts, historical literary studies, comparative yazınbilimciler leading the German and Turkish literature in the case of different types of type, linguistic, historical and cultural similarities, the differences are compared.
