Define the basic concepts of education (education, instruction, learning, etc.). Apprehend the differences between the basic concepts of education. Apprehend the teaching profession, the conditions and the properties of professionalisation. Describe features that teachers should have. Analyze the psychological, social, economic, philosophical and legal foundations of education. Apprehend the roles and the responsibilities of the teacher in education and instruction. Apprehend the new trends in Turkish education system. Evaluate the problems of Turkish education system.
