Evaluates the view of Islam about education in the scope of Quran and applications of Prophet Mohammad. Describes the educational institutions and their qualities in the period of the Prophet Mohammad. Analyzes the results of the spread of Islam and its encounters with other cultures. Compares the views of educators in the Islamic world. Evaluates the elements which prepared for the transition to formal education in the Islamic world.
