Learning Outcomes of the Course : Evaluates the view of Islam about education in the scope of Quran and applications of Prophet Mohammad.
Describes the educational institutions and their qualities in the period of the Prophet Mohammad.
Analyzes the results of the spread of Islam and its encounters with other cultures.
Compares the views of educators in the Islamic world.
Evaluates the elements which prepared for the transition to formal education in the Islamic world.

Aim(s) of Course : The course aims to examine the process of religious education in the Islamic geography starting from the earliest times of hijcri V. century .

Course Contents : The course covers the Islamic overview of the relationship between education and human, the type and value of knowledge in the Islamic sense and educational institutions and their activities in the Islamic World until hijri V. century
