Learning Outcomes of the Course : Compares Islamic Law with other legal systems and understands the differences
Studies Islamic law within certain periods and knows that each period hasspecific conditions and features
Knows the the general characteristics of the existing and dead sects
Knows the general outline of the factors that had a role on the emergence of sects
Knows that sects and some provisions are the results of understandings of certain periods

Aim(s) of Course : Students will have the knowledge and the notion to explain the emergence of schools of jurisprudence, sociological, psychological, grammatical and geographical factors.

Course Contents : gives information about historical periods of Islamic law and sect system
