Learning Outcomes of the Course : Is able to use the basic terms such as art, beautiful, and aesthetics in his daily life in an academic way.
Is able to interpret the source and origin of art, its historical value and the contributions to the human life.
Is able to interpret the interaction between the aesthetic disciplines and the work of art.
Is able to perceive the contemporary art and its concepts in an academic sense and benefit from them in his daily life.

Aim(s) of Course : The aim is to study on the theoretical approaches that help to comprehend the position of art through the periods and deal with the relation between art and beautiful.

Course Contents : The course deals with examining the art and its theories through the periods from ancient times until the present day.
