Recognizes the related methods which are used to teach the basic language skills. Applies the methods which are used to teach the basic language skills in Turkish language teaching. Designs the activities for Turkish education by using general and special teaching methods and techniques. Recognizes and analyses objectives and activities in Turkish Lesson Program (2006). Evaluates the texts which are used in Turkish education from different aspects . Recognizes the measurement and assessment methods which are used in Turkish education. Applies measurement and assessment methods which are used in Turkish education.

To help students investigate and evaluate the Turkish Lesson Program (2006) with a critical point of view, practice the special teaching methods by using different activities to teach basic language skills and use measurement and assessment methods. |

The contents of this course include the evaluation of Turkish Language Teaching Program (2006) with a critical point of view, improving the activities for Turkish education (writing, speaking, reading, listening) by using general and special teaching methods, techniques, concepts, principles, environments and basis, choosing texts to use in Turkish education, texts characteristics, preparing questions and evaluating texts which are used in Turkish education, studying texts which are used in Turkish education from different aspects, instruments of measurement and assessment, setting proper learning environments with appropriate teaching texts to the language level of students. |
