Course Contents |

Definition of Language, theories of the birth of languagei perspectives. What is speech? What are the elements (body language etc.) that forms the language? the elements that make an effective speech (clothing, body language, pronunciation, stress and intonation, etc., factors that negatively affect speech (speech disorders, anxiety, false utterance, use of oral characteristics, types of speech: Impromptu speeches (bilateral talks, speaking in a group, etc.), prepared speeches, including types of verbal communication (conferences, congresses, symposia, panel discussions, etc.), prepared speeches: symposium statement (specifications, samples), prepared speeches, debates, forums, speeches, keynote speeches, survey. |
