Learning Outcomes of the Course |

Recognizes the perspective of Servet-i Fünun period artists to romanticism and realism. Identifies the impressions of social and cultural life in literary works. Is able to comment on the novelist character of Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil Recognizes Mehmet Rauf´s novelist character and samples of preliminary psychological novel Is able to compare Servet-i Fünun novel with preliminary samples contextually and technically. Evaluates romanticism and realism movements theoretically. Understands the technical and contextual changes of Turkish novel.
