Learning Outcomes of the Course : Determines the status and limit of Turkish in history of Turkish language.
Knows the features of Turkish language with samples.
Knows about the sounds and speech organs, sounds of Turkish, vocals and their features in Turkish.
Knows the palatal and labial harmony.
Knows the features of our language, and the suffixes.
Knows the verbals and is able to practice with samples.

Aim(s) of Course : The basic aim of this class is to comprehend phonetic and morphological features in Turkish.

Course Contents : Basic consepts related to language, status of Turkish among world languages, status of Turkish among history of Turkish language, basic consept related to phonetics; phonetics of Turkish, vowels and consonants; sound events about to vowels and consonants; morphologic features of Turkish, rules of word formation in Turkish, suffix-base conjugations and derivational suffixes.
