Recognizes the works of the composers of the classical period. Recognizes the works of the composers of the Romantic period. Recognizes the works of the composers of the Modern period. Recognizes different forms and their properties. Recognizes musical works and their features composed for different communities. Thanks to professional knowledge and experience, makes theoretical studies related to the identification of national and international music literature. Gains the sensitivity of being a national and international artist who is aware of his/her responsibilities. Gains the habit and awareness of having art ethics and professional discipline.

Giving information about the course ´form information´, providing examples from different ages, studying and introducing musical works composed for different communities and studying works selected from developmental stages of polyphonic music through musical analysis methods to bring out especially their structural features. |

The works selected from musical repertoire are compared through applying musical analysis methods on different interpretations of music either on partition or on music listened from a CD. |
