Recognizes the basic features of the Italian language. Gains ability to express himself/herself in basic situations in the foreign language like introducing himself and responding to a request. Understands and applies basic pronounciation proporties of italian language . Understands the rules and the basic features of syllable stress, object, subject and demonstrative pronouns, simple and compound prepositions, tenses, verb forms. Gains ability to translate Italian songs. Understands the thematic meanings of Italian songs.He understands the meaning of Italian thematic parts. Develops the ability to write in Italian. Gains ability to practice everyday conversation.
